The company is optimistic that the service will be revived at some point in the future, but at this time there are no definite plans to do so. The danger pay cuts, part of a labor cost reduction initiative on the part of the DoD, will hit thousands of airmen and sailors now assigned to ships, ports, and flight ops in the Middle East.
