Top 5 Tech Toys of 2013

Recently at the annual Consumer Electronics Show, this year held in Manila, the next generation of tech toys was unveiled as a slew of new gadgets were introduced to the world. As expected, many are computer components, and many are smart phones. However a few new cameras also made an appearance.

Motherboard circuitry

The great thing about this is that these things are no longer rich men’s toys. The vast majority of all electronic goods are well under $10K nowadays, and that means that our military men and women can pick up at least a few of them with an easy military loan. The low interest and zero down payment requirements mean that you can get started as soon as you want. Here are a few of the most interesting new additions to the tech market that you might want to think about getting.

Lenovo Ideacenter Horizon Table PC

Lenovo’s 27-inch IdeaCenter Horizon Table PC lies face-up on any surface and allows more than one person to use it at once. It’s designed to use the Windows 8 tap-screen operability and can handle both gaming and productivity software. It’s a lot like the Ms. PacMan coffee tables from back in the 80s.

Asus Qube

The Asus Qube is best for Google TV. People can use the Qube to access over 100K TV shows, movies, games, and other applications through Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, and other On Demand services. It is responsive to keyboard input, voice commands, and a nifty app that makes your smartphone a remote control. Comes complete with 50 gigs of cloud space.

Sony TD30V

This is a great little 3D camcorder. At just $1,000, the Sony Handycam TD30V is smaller than previous models, and has a 3.5 inch 3D LCD monitor. The best part? You can see 3D on the monitor without 3D glasses!

LG EA93 UltraWide Monitor

This monitor’s screen is closer to the proportions of a movie screen than most all previous monitors, so it’s also great for watching films and other widescreen-format content. Also, it encourages maximum productivity as a desktop, analyzing documents in their entirety and allowing more spreadsheet columns to be visible than on standard widescreen monitors.

Coby MID1077-8

This tablet has 10.1-inch HD display, so it looked great. But, it’s FAST! Especially for a tablet. With a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM, it needs the 8GB or 16GB of storage it comes with. You’ll be surfing so much, you’ll accumulate twice as much!
